Welcoming in Spring with (you guessed it) another potluck. Each month, indieAnthro contributors get together to share what they've been listening to lately. Enjoy! :3

"口笛くん" - towz

Japanese fursuit-rockers towz return with the lead single for their upcoming "DESK E.P.". A bouncy guitar line that turns into a mid tempo banger, the track is a fun and summery piece of power pop, and it’s filled with great riffs to boot. towz keep proving that they are an artist to watch.

"口笛くん" is available now on Bandcamp.

“Do You Ever Stop Whining?" - weareallmadeofstardust

"Do You Ever Stop Whining?" brings songs of loneliness and isolation set to noisy, rapid instrumentals that reminds me of late 2000's post-hardcore and a maximalist lo-fi approach as in 2010's emo like nouns. This is fast-paced and bursting with catharsis. It's always a treat finding a multi-instrumentalist project like this. Check out: abandonment issues (take me with you)

“Daybreak” - Vylet Pony (prod. Vylet Pony)

“Daybreak” is track 1 of the 2 track single Daybreak / Nightmare Night (2025)—returning to the iconic metal, pony-fueled song refining every aspect of its instrumentation breathing new equestrian energy into the melodies. Vylet Pony’s piercing vocals place you straight in the hooves of the familial plight being portrayed—sparing no emotion between the tonally reflective guitar riffs & drum patterns. “Daybreak” is a remake of a track of the same name from 2018 finally coming back to, and concluding it’s story with the release of it’s sister remake song, 2013’s “Nightmare Night.”

“Daybreak” is track 1 of Daybreak / Nightmare Night (2025) by Vylet Pony. Out now on streaming.

“G.I.R.L.” - 8485 & Danny Brown (prod. doin’ fine)

8485 & Danny Brown join up in an unpredictable duo on “G.I.R.L.” continuing Danny Brown’s ongoing unprecedentedly queer feature run. Rural Internet alumni, doin’ fine, hits hard on the production creating the perfect canvas for both of these artists to mix their colors. “G.I.R.L.” is an underground-breaking track capturing the natural progression of independent music outshining mainstream appeal. It feels so good in real life to bop and sing along to this generational doin’ fine beat.

“G.I.R.L.” by 8485 & Danny Brown is out now everywhere.

“c thu shirt (yk who tf i am)” - zoe sapphire (prod. zoe sapphire)

Channeling her inner cunt, zoe sapphire surprise released the aptly titled debut EP, surprise! this past month exclusively on SoundCloud. “c thu shirt (yk who tf i am)” is a short 1 minute 37 seconds long showcasing her production skills with layering, melody arrangements, and catchy drums. Acting as the outro of this collection of tracks, it makes a lasting impression of the tone zoe sapphire wants to be exuding.

“c thu shirt (yk who i am)” is the outro track to surprise! by zoe sapphire. Out now on SoundCloud.

Saoirse Dream (self titled)

Saoirse Dream's self-titled LP is finally out! I've been listening to "trophy" nonstop during the lead-up, and the rest of the album stacks up so well. I love its variety of styles and energy levels, from the wringing bluesy ballad of "god knows i could tear us apart" to the metalsteppy "montage". This album was absolutely worth the wait. (Bonus points for all the FL Studio stock samples)

garaje.v.2 - RSKO

RSKO is bringing furry UK Garage to the scene! I highly recommend leaving on their latest full album: garaje.v.2.

garaje.v.2 is available now on streaming services.

some bugs EP - Emil Kjølhede

Emil Kjølhede put out this fascinating IDM-esque EP in January. "some bugs EP" is full of curious bug textures and strange melodies. It reminds me greatly of my favourite IDM works from artists like Exowave1 and Dreaming Moths. I immediately fell in love with this album. Check out each song's liner notes too!

">>FORWARD" - Maxi Soundscape

Maxi Soundscape is a heavy techno/EDM artist I recently came across. I love their sense for a thick, punch beat with lots of neural/ephemeral sounds surrounding them. For this track they took particular inspiration from the Wipeout series of games. This was hands-down my favourite of their released tracks. :3
